Seattle's Hot Hail! combines classic Synthpop sensibilities, modern Darkwave maximalism, and fierce Post-Punk politics to create a powerful synthesis of horror, humanity, and humor. Featuring songwriter Billy Sigil (they / them), and DJ Emilio Cerrillo (he / him), Hot Hail! is the perfect music for starting, then quickly ruining, any party.
Their full length debut, 'ALL THE BLOOD YOU WANTED,' released in March 2025, received accolades for Sigil's powerhouse vocals, infectious hooks, and razorsharp lyricism.
Over the folowing year, Hot Hail! also released the chilling anti-fascist single 'My Own Private Weimar,' as well as 'Glennda?", a collection of light-hearted synthpop and darkwave covers of Misfits songs, followed by the music video for 'WYRD,' a powerful statement of queer joy and defiance.
Their follow-up album, ‘HOPE IN HELL,’ released in April 2026, expands Hot Hail!'s sound even further into anthemic ultra-catchy synthpop, while simultaneously grappling with themes of how we keep our sanity and humanity intact in the face of fascism.
Hot Hail! has also established a reputation for their engaging and high energy live shows, sharing bills with national touring acts like Light Asylum, Urban Heat, Madeline Goldstein, Meldamor, Blone Noble, and Lana Del Rabies, and was featured at the 2026 Verboden Festival.
